Importing blog to a new site name

  Hi there!

  I just imported my blog at http://amweekes.wordpress.com to http://mevsthebulge.wordpress.com.

  I didn’t realise that when you did that it would not carry over all your stats, comments and layout etc.

  So I think I’ll just delete the one I imported to but will that affect my original blog?

  I basically just wanted to change the name of my blog as when I signed up I used my username as my blog title and would now rather use my blog’s title…

  Any help is appreciated!

  Deleting a different blog won’t affect the original one, but remember, you can NEVER use the URL in future if you delete it. My advice is just to make it Private instead.

  Okay great. I’ll just hide it for now. I wish there was an easier way to just transfer EVERYTHING… :(

  You can never transfer stats to a different URL; it’s a different site.. Comments have to be done one by one.

  You COULD keep the site you have with stats and comments and so on and make it mevsthebulge.com or something if you purchase the Domain Mapping upgrade for $15 a year. Then you keep everything but the URL changes.
