importing blogger <BlogItemUrl> data

  Hi folks,

  I’ve tried romantika’s new-blogger to wordpress import plugin with my self-hosted wordpress and also with a wordpress.com hosted blog and it’s import->blogger tool, only to find the neither manage to extract blogger’s <BlogItemUrl> data.

  Any help/ideas would be appreciated, as most of my posts’ titles are not permalinks but external links appropriate to the post’s subject.

  The issue would be that the permalinks on WordPress would be internal for the blog and not linked elsewhere. You could do it (Heck, I do it myself on my own WPMu install’s tag system) but it required a rewrite of that portion of the code. That’s not something that’s probably going to be supported here. You’re free to suggest it via feedback on monday though.

  Anyone any ideas how to fix this problem on a wordpress.com site ?
