importing content

    Hello!

    I have commited an import of my previous content, but it is taking hours already. Ther eare not that many posts, so I am afraid something is wrong.

    Help?

    There is a queue for importer use. We wait for 24 hours and if the import is not complete we contact Staff.

    Hopefully you removed unmoderated and spam comments and emptied the trash prior to creating the XML export file.

    Is the site you exported from still online?

    If it is then what is the URL please?

    Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.
