Importing Content from a Shopify Site

    Is there a way to import a site that is in Shopify or another CMS into WordPress? If not, what is the best way to get a site that is in another CMS into WordPress without having to copy and paste everything?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    In your dashboard>tools>importer you can select what blog service you want to import from. There isn’t a tool for Shopify, in that case, you can see if your provider allows you to export your blog as a .xml file, and use the WordPress importer.

    Hi there,

    To import from Shopify you’ll first need a site with an ecommerce plugin like WooCommerce installed, as that’s required to have access to the product and order content types. Using plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business or eCommerce plan.

    For WooCommerce specifically, you can use that platform’s built-in CSV importer to import your products from your Shopify store, though they also have some dedicated Shopify migration plugins available to help make this process easier:
