Importing content from my other WordPress blog has failed

  I have set up a second blog, and wish to import all the posts from my first blog which fall into a particular category. I missed some of the posts the first time I did this, so deleted them from the new blog, corrected my categories and did the export/import again. I received an e-mail to say the import had been successful, but the posts did not appear in the new blog. I’ve just tried again with the same result. Any suggestions?

  Please let me know the addresses for your source (export) blog and your destination (import) blog, and I will take a look.

  Also please be sure you’ve checked your “trash” because if our importer saw your subsequent import attempts as duplicates, those posts will end up there, and can be moved out of the trash.

  Thank you so much for your help, ladies – the posts had indeed gone into the “trash” folder! Now restored, and I can have fun sorting out the design… Many thanks once again.
