Importing current html site to wordpress.com

Hi! I currently have another website that is built with html code. I would like to import (or move) it over to wordpress.com. Is there a way to use my current format or do I need to pick a template and copy in pieces? I don’t know c+, can I make changes using html? Also, is there a way to attach searable tags to individual lines of information on a page? thanks!

If you have a website and not a blog, I’m not aware of any way for you to move it here. Your choices for themes are those listed in your dashboard (under design). No, you can’t change the HTML of the theme since we are on a shared platform. You can change the appearance (to some extent) via the CSS upgrade but that is not recommended unless you have considerable CSS experience. There is no official support for CSS.
