Importing Error from Tumblr

    Hello, I’m trying to import my blog from Tumblr, and authorized the import to begin.
    There wasn’t any progress after about an hour, so I followed the directions of Clearing the Account to start over (it even says in the directions that if there’s no progress or it stops to do this). When I tried to import again after clearing the account, it said ‘You can only have one running import at a time. Please wait for your current import to complete…’

    I then tried disconnecting the tumblr (the other option) and trying again by re-authorizing wordpress to import from my other blog, and it had the same results. ‘You can only have one running import…’

    I now have no way of seeing if there has been any progress and am wondering what I should do or not do to successfully import.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, I’ve tagged WordPress.com staff to help you with resetting the importer.

    You’ll likely receive a response within a few hours from a staff member, but in the meantime, you may wish to take a look at this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/tumblr-imports/

    Once it’s reset, please bare in mind the following as advised by staff:

    Please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.

    Hello! So it has been over 24 hours and the import doesn’t seem to have begun.
    I’m trying to import to https://barberwitch.wordpress.com/

    I did look through the updated thread posted in this one and didn’t see any additional info so I’m hoping someone can help.

    For the status bar, even though it says it’s running the import, it hasn’t updated any posts still 0/X for all the posts/drafts/pages.

    It looks like the importer on your site is still waiting to run.

    We’re importing thousands of posts a minute from Tumblr at the moment, but the importer is barely catching up, so I’m afraid this might take a while. Feel free to check in here again later if you don’t see any progress.

    Also please make sure you’ve reconnected your Tumblr account, as that being disconnected could be preventing the import from starting.
