importing excel data into wordpress

  I would like to use an excel spreadsheet to populate my wordpress site. I am creating an events page, and want to capture the data in an excel file and then use this to upload into the site to autopopulate (a little like using merge fields in mail merge). Is this possible? What is the best way to go about this? TIA

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately there is nothing exactly like what you describe. You can put tables on a page by inserting HTML. There is some introductory discussion of this on this forum question:
