Importing existing website into WordPress

  I would like to import an existing website into WordPress to make some changes to the site. I don’t think that it was originally created using WordPress. Can you please advise how I can accomplish this? Thanks!

  Thank you for the info. It is a complete website that I would like to import. It is not a blog.
