importing existing WordPress blog into new site

  I have an existing blog. Now, I am working on changing my separate, existing website over into WordPress (Twenty Seventeen theme).
  I would like to eliminate the separate blog and just create another page on my new site for the blog posts.
  Can someone please tell me how to do that?
  I tried exporting the blog and importing it, but the posts show up under ‘posts’ but I cannot figure out how to get them to be on a page of my new site.

  https://stannesguesthome.wordpress.com is the blog – I am working on redoing our website (www.stannesguesthome.org) using the Twenty Seventeen theme on WordPress but have not done so yet.

  So you’re trying to add the posts to a page on http://www.stannesguesthome.org/?

  That site is not on WordPress.com, so we don’t have any access to it. To do this you’ll need to set a Posts Page under Settings ->Reading in the dashboard on that site, but for more help with this please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead:
