Importing file with some duplicate posts

  I have just imported a second wordpress file to my NHLIblog. It includes duplicates of some posts that are already on the site, will these be duplicated on the blog and can this be fixed?

  They will duplicate. Your best bet is to go back to the original site, if possible, and customize your post export using the filters (date, category, author, etc.).
