importing files

    I’m experiencing some errors while importing an offline site

    Hello
    I created a site offline using wampserver and the styleshop theme. I am working with the version 3.9 of wordpress. I bought a domain at hostgator, installed wordpress under it and now I was trying to import everything from my computer using the worpress importer plugin to the online structure. the errors I got were:

    It sounds like the website you’re having issues with is not hosted at WordPress.com, but is instead hosted on Hostgator using the software available at WordPress.org. That means we at WordPress.com do not have any access to your installation or files, and cannot assist you in processing your import.

    Please refer to http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
