importing from another site?

  Hello,
  I have a travel blog from another site that is closing. They have given instructions to import all of the posts to WordPress, but the ‘Import’ they show under the settings is not showing in my WordPress account? How can I import these files to WordPress so that I do not lose my current blogs?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Which platform are you trying to import the files? Is it Travelpod ?

  Yes, it is Travelpod. They provided a zip file and instructions with screen shots, but their screen shots are not matching what is on my screen.

  Just crosscheck, all steps are taken correctly.
  You can use these instructions to import https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Also, make sure to first extract the .zip folder.

  I still have no option to “Import”! I’ve added the /wp-admin to the url, and go to settings and there is no “Import” option!! How do I have the option to Import?!

  Hi again Nikki!
  Ok, lets try it a couple of ways,
  1) firstly just as you are logged into WordPRess.com , from your existing Dashboard, Blue, and White,
  On the bottom left-hand side you will see Settings
  Go to General Tab, in that section, at the bottom you would see a section
  “Site Tools” –>Import
  You can use it as per the instructions.

  2) The second option if you are in your Wp-admin Dashboard, on the left-hand side you would see an option Tools, you would have “Import” there as well. You can proceed with the needful.
