importing from another wordpress

  i made another wordpress blog and i want to import my stuff from my previous one into the new one….

  Q1: will everything from that first blog go into the 2nd one?
  Q2: it says i have to upload “WordPress WXR file”?? what does that mean? and how do i do it?

  1. Posts and comments yes, I’m not sure about sidebar(s)

  2. Download the export file using the dashboard on the first blog. Then upload the same file using the importer on the second blog.
