Importing from Blogger.

This process fails several times before succeeding:
“The importer will fetch a list of your Blogger blogs, let you know how many posts and comments there are, and let you pick which one to import. Click “Import” to get going.”
What seems to be the problem?

The problem seems to be at your end. That is to say that you need to create an XML export file of your Blogger blog’s content so your can import it at this end.

I see 1496 posts on your blog at rammelaarsdotme.wordpress.com.
If there is additional content that you need to import, you might try the manual import, which you can access by going to the “Have a Blogger export file?” under the Blogger import tool option, and manually uploading your .xml file.

Okay, so I assume by your reply that not all of your posts have successfully imported? Please check, as it’s possible that they have despite our file limitation notice.
If not, you may need to split your .xml file into smaller files for importing. There are tools on the web for this, including one at http://technolect.org/split-large-xml-files-wordpress/ that may work for you.

I apologize for the inconvenience. It’s possible that with such a large file, the import process was timing out on you. I’m glad to hear that all of your posts are now successfully imported.
