Importing from blogger to wordpress

    Hi there I’m trying to move from blogger to wordpress. I just created my account and followed the correct instructions to save the xml files of both my blogs (I have 71 posts all up) and tried to import them here. I get an error message saying file type is incorrect. This is not making a good impression on me. one of the major reasons I want to leave blogger is that it has major glitches and is not user friendly and straight away I can’t import. I really need your help. I have a screenshot I can send if you need it.

    no idea how to remove this post but i checked on the site and manually imported from blogger using tools so it’s sorted now
