Importing from Blogger to WordPress error… HELP!

  Hello there,

  Ok many thanks for that, I managed to find that.

  It looks like that was quite a large file.

  I’ve converted that to an XML file which can be accessed here: https://d.pr/f/5Me287

  Are you able to reattempt an import with that file please.

  Thought it was working… and then, at the very end, I received this message:

  “There don’t appear to be any authors in your import file.
  Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format. Still need help?” ( screen shot: https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/c311/SpankyStokes/2021-03-17_16_19_54-Window.jpg )

  What do I do now? Thanks so much

  Hey there,

  We’ve got the same message as you when attempting to import this.

  I think this has something to do with how the ATOM file gets converted into an XML file.

  Is Blogger able to supply that same ATOM file, with that content, as an XML, which also includes an clearly set author?

  Keeping our fingers crossed they can help with this.
