importing from iweb

i left moving from mobileme iweb to wordpress until the last minute – it looks like i need assistance to get the blog part of my site moved – but not sure where i get the assistance from?

As far as I know, there is no way to directly import an iWeb blog/site to wordpress.com. I’ll tag this for staff attention, but I suspect you will have to do a copy and paste on everything. If that is the case, and you choose to proceed, use the “paste as plain text” button on the lower row of the editor toolbar so that any HTML that might break things here is stripped out.

Hi Macmanx, I have a site on me.com (using iWeb) that I’d also like to move to WordPress.com – not .org (unless there is a good host for that). Once that’s done I want to use the WordPress publishing tool for my posts moving forward. Thanks in advance!

I have sent emails to the email addresses on your accounts with further instructions.
For anyone else who asks, your iWeb site needs to be hosted on MobileMe with an RSS Feed for us to import. We can only import the blog post content from an RSS Feed. All other iWeb content (non-blog pages) will need to be copied and pasted, as there is no way to directly import them.
