Importing from LiveJournal?

  Hi!

  I’m new to WordPress but currently run three blogs. One of them is on LiveJournal. I want to make import the posts from my LJ to my new blog here, but I have a couple questions:

  [1] If I import my posts from my LJ, will it take them OFF of my LJ, or will it just make copies of everything?

  [2] Can anyone, in a VERY BASIC WAY, explain to me how to import files from my LJ? I have no idea how to do so and am not all that handy with a computer.
