Importing from Livejournal

  I’m trying to import an old journal. Every time I sign in to do it, it says it’s the wrong password. I have checked on livejournal numerous times and it is correct. I’m wondering if there’s something else I’m doing wrong. Please help.

  Hi there,

  This has been a problem for a while now and as far as we can tell the problem is on LiveJournal’s end. We’ve checked and double checked the importer on our end, and we know of several other services whose LJ importers are also not working. Until LJ fixes it, there’s not much else we can do.

  One service I know of that can still import from LJ is Dreamwidth, so you could perhaps try them, or else a user as written a converter to change an LJ XML file into a format that will work with the regular WordPress importer. You can find more information on that workaround here:
