Importing from new blogger

  can anyone of u help me with a way to import posts from new blogger the one which uses google ID

  There are many threads in the forum searchbox on this.
  Blogger has not provided an exporter. Apparently they presume that no blogger might ever choose to leave their Google empire.
  Wordpress has yet to develop an importer for Blogger Beta blogs.
  There’s is a work around that will result in the import of posts but not comments. drmike has come up with a work-around type of cheat for these kinds of importing problems that you may want to try.
  If you do not want to use the work-around then you have the choice of either copy and pasting or waiting until an exporter/importer is created.

  Just remember that that cheat will only move over posts. Nothing else I’m afraid.

  I imagine that the need for a Blogger importer is going to become pressing now that Blogger has literally forced a large portion of the holdouts to upgrade. I was given no choice but to switch over last night, and I can’t even begin to tell you how jacked up my blog is over there. I’ve already signed up for a blog here (should have a long time ago but hindsight, right?) but there’s no way I’m going to take a chance and lose four years of posts in the workaround or copy/paste more than 800 entries by hand.

  An importer for new Blogger would guarantee WP an enormous amount of converts– especially with Blogger forcing our hands with the “upgrade”.

  So what is the deal with the Blogger upgrade? How much is it? And what else is involved?
