Importing from OLD Blogger

    Hi all,
    I would like to import my blogger blog to wordpress. I was able to move over most of my posts a couple of weeks ago, but now the importer only supports the “new” Blogger. Unfortunately, my blogger blog is stuck in the “old” version, so the new importer doesn’t work for me. Is there any way that I can use the old importer to get my posts from “old” Blogger?

    Just for reference, please note how I edited the link within your post. Please note that the ’emileeknits’ bit takes the place of the ‘www’ bit. They can not coexist. 30% of the net plus most major search engine spiders can not or will not follow such a link.

    Also Links sigs are not really allowed here. I left it in yours so you could see what was occuring. You do have a link under your username to the left though.

    Best bet would be to send in a feedback on Monday and ask staff about this and see if they can work something out.

    If they can’t, we still have the old blogger importer within the regular WordPress Multiuser software. I worked out a method to import using RSS for other blogging systems. Feel free to try that method but use the blogger importer on that system as it’s still the older one.

    Do please pay attention to teh instructions though. It will change your blogger CSS and it’s best to save it ahead of time.
