Importing from Posterous failed

Importing from Posterous has not completed. There should be 640 posts but it has imported 308 into http://richardmackney.wordpress.com can you help?

Is it still stuck?
If so, I’d like to try emptying the entire blog and trying the import again. Does the blog only contain posts imported from Posterous?

Hi, Yes, it was but I decided to deleted the whole blog and try again.
I setup a new test blog http://mackneyimport.wordpress.com and started the process again yesterday. Currently its still showing 0 posts imported.
I have deleted all my private posterous posts and pages just in case it causes an error.
Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like you have quite a few posts there now, did it work correctly? Please note that it can take the importer up to 24 hours to finish.

Hi, I do believe it has worked, thank you!
I have a double of every image in my media folder and some posts still link the media embed to Posterous – but this is of little consequence.
Many Posterous users are liaising with me on the move to WP.com and are mentioning that the images are not always being transferred. I’m documenting the move here http://richard.mackney.com/life-after-posterous-a-search-for-a-new-blog

This is the first time I’ve heard of the duplicate images issue. If you know others are having the problem, would you please ask them to post in the forums here?
