I tried importing from Squarespace. The email notified me that it was successful. But I don’t see any content on my WordPress.com site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I exported your Squarespace XML file over to koreastrategy.wordpress.com. Please check the blog and let me know if everything imported correctly.
Thanks! -
Thanks a lot for your help, both of you!
Text contents have moved. Some images have not. I can move them manually, but is this normal?
Another question. The Squarespace home page is not anymore the homepage, and its URL has changed. How do I make it the home? And how do I change the URLs of the pages?
Thanks!

If you have any media/images that needs to be exported over, your Squarespace site must be activated and accessible during the import. If you still can, make your Squarespace accessible again and the WordPress should automatically pull the images over.

The number indicates you have more than one home page. You can either restore the first version from Trash or permanently delete it there https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/permanently-delete-trash
It appears that you were already able to do that. =)
but, for more information on page titles and URLs, please visit our support page:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

Hi,
I’m having a similar problem. I’ve created my own post but didn’t get any attention. I hope you could help me too. :)

Hi darnelldibbles,
I just noticed that a lot of my images are still pointed to the squarespace addres, which are no longer available. Is there a way to still get those? I can maybe try to re-activate my squarespace, but how can I import them to wordpress and keep them? Hope to hear from you soon!
-
Hello! If your Squarespace site is no longer publicly accessible, we won’t be able to retrieve those for you.
If there are many files, you should try to get the entire site reactivated, empty your site, and run the import again. That way the files get automatically uploaded and the file names changed.
Otherwise, you’ll have to upload them yourself to your Media Library. And then go through your posts and update the image references.

Hi Shawnajroberts,
I just re-enabled my Squarespace and the images are live again. Could you help me transfer all of them to my WordPress now? I’ll unsubscribe from my Squarespace once you’ve transferred them.
Hoping to hear from you real soon.
Thanks!

Hoping to hear from you guys soon… I only paid for a month of Squarespace subscription. Please help me migrate my photos over to WordPress. :)
-
Hello! Can you confirm which of your sites you’re running this import for?
I’ll need to completely empty all of the content from that site. So if you’ve written any new posts or pages, make sure to copy that content to your computer before confirming that I can empty it.
-
Hi! Ita for this one:https://myhazyjournal.wordpress.com/ you can go ahead and empty it. Thanks!
-
Thanks! I’ve just started the emptying of that site. Give it at least an hour, then you can start the Squarespace import like normal. :)

I did the Squarespace import again, the images on my WordPress are still pointing to Squarespace like before. Am I doing something wrong?
