importing from tumblr

  I tried to import my tumblr blog to wordpress, but it hung up on processing and 0 posts imported for a couple hours. My wifi had cut out briefly so I assumed that the process had glitched due to the lost connection so I decided to start over. Apparently that was a mistake. I tried the clear button, and then disconnecting and reconnecting my tumblr, logging out and logging in again, and clearing cookies, but every attempt to hit import gives me an error message that you can only upload one blog at a time — even though it doesn’t appear to be processing an import at all. I’m not sure what to do from here. Any pointers would be appreciated, thank you.

  Hi there,

  I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

  If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

  If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
