Importing from Tumblr

  I’m trying to import my tumblr blog, and when I clicked ‘import this blog’ it would seem to make 0 progress (0 posts imported, 0 drafts imported, 0 pages imported) and would auto-refresh every 5-10 seconds, which would seemingly do nothing. I clicked the ‘clear account information’ button and that stopped it. I tried now importing a different blog, and I got the message ‘You can only have one running import at a time. Please wait for the current one to complete. If you need any further assistance please contact support.’ I clicked the clear button again and tried importing the first blog but got the same message. I even tried disconnecting my tumblr and reconnecting, but that didn’t change. It seems that nothing is happening. Please help.

  Hi there,

  I’ve double checked to confirm your import is still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it, as that could be preventing it from starting.

  We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please give it another 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.
