Importing from Tumblr doesn’t work

    I wanted to import my tumblr blog to wordpress using the importer but after waiting for more than an hour no progress was made so i stopped the import, disconnected from tumblr then tried to run the importer again. I keep getting this message ‘You can only have one running import at a time. Please wait for the current one to complete. If you need any further assistance please contact support.’ despite not having an ongoing import process. I tried disconnecting from tumblr, logging out, revoking wordpress’ access to my tumblr, deleting my cache/cookies and restarting my pc. None of these have worked. Is there a solution to this issue?

    Hi there,

    I’ve double checked to confirm your import is still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it, as that could be preventing it from starting.

    We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.
