Importing from tumblr into wordpress

  Hello there!
  Would really appreciate if help migrating my blog on tumblr: http://www.danlittauer.tumblr.com to wordpress.
  Can anyone help please?

  I did a search on google and came up with this: http://haochen.wordpress.com/2008/08/19/export-your-tumblr-blog-to-wordpress/ .

  There is no direct import for tumblr to wordpress.COM.

  Great, thank you. I tried it and it imported my posts, so its a good start. Didnt import, however comments, which I guess I can live with. However anyway to copy the theme or style it in a similar way on wordpress? It is quite special…

  The only way to customize the look of a WP.com blog beyond custom headers (and, on some themes, colours) is to learn CSS and purchase the CSS upgrade, and then tweak the look of an existing theme. If you’re good, you can do quite a lot. You cannot, however, upload external themes at all. You have to hand-edit everything.
