Importing from Tumblr (over 24hrs)

  Hi, I’ve been trying to import my Tumblr blog to my new wordpress account for over 24hrs now. Are you able to see if it’s frozen or if it’s still processing please.

  The blog name is: pandorasdirtylittlebox

  Hi there,

  I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued and it’s going to start soon. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it. And please be patient and keep your connection from Tumblr. Do not try to cancel your import.

  We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

  Thanks so much for replying. I haven’t cancelled the connection so will just leave it for another 24hrs and see what happens then 😊

  Hi, I’ve been trying to import my Tumblr blog since 4th December, and it still just shows the spinning cog and ‘In progress’, please can you check and see what’s going on. I understand that there is a back log but could it really be taking this amount of time?

  Hi there,

  It looks like the import on your site has completed – some content has been imported, and no import is currently running.

  If you’re still missing posts, please restart the import now – posts already on your WordPress.com site will be skipped by the importer. It might take a while to complete, though, as we’re still seeing a lot of new Tumblr imports being created so there’s still a backlog. At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.
