Importing from WordPress

    Hi, I want to import an old website to this new temporary site to get access to the previous posts. I have a ZIP file but when I try to upload it, it tells me the files aren’t in xml format (which they don’t appear to be). The ZIP file was a back up of the website from a couple of months ago and includes a database I’m told, so we should be able to access old posts if I can get it imported. Any ideas? The files in the ZIP seem to be php.

    Hey there, most of our plans don’t allow direct access to PHP files and the database. This may help:

    Depending on what’s in the file (a cPanel backup, perhaps?) it may be easiest to restore it at your previous host, then use these steps to import the content:
