Importing Help

  I imported two of my old WordPress blogs together on an old domain, all the posts, pages, and categories have been imported fine; but some of the images aren’t importing at all while some are.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there!

  The images that are exported from a site are stored in your XML file as links. If, when you import the file, the original site is not online, the link will not work and so, the images will not appear on your site.

  It’s best to add the missing images manually to the new site.

  Oh, so if I made wordpress clear my joannageorges.wordpress.com site to import an old version of joannageorges.wordpress.com and stateofjoanna.wordpress.com, the joannageorges.wordpress.com images won’t work because that content is cleared, is that right? But most of the stateofjoanna.wordpress.com images work because the site is still online?
