Importing images–NOT

    This feature is NOT working! Others have had the same issue on the forum here recently. Any help with this? Seems to be a common problem.

    If you are importing content from another WordPress-powered blog, you can check the “Download and import file attachments“ box and the media files will be downloaded from your old host and uploaded to WordPress.com.

    I have a self-hosted wordpress 3.6 site at http://www.katielane.com which I am moving to wordpress.com. Importing blog posts is flawless except the images are referenced back to the katielane.com website.

    Importing from a self-hosted wordpress blog. The blog is still up.

    There are no options for exporting or importing images (no checkbox to do this on either end) contrary to documentation above.

    The blog posts being imported are all in this category http://quiltzillas.wordpress.com/category/maries-blog/

    Any help is appreciated.
