importing into WordPress.com

  i started an import last friday, my import is still processing…
  how can i fix this ?
  or try to import a smaller file ?

  Hi there,

  The importer ran into trouble and got stuck during your last import. I just reset your importer so it isn’t stuck as “still processing.”

  What version of WordPress is running on the original site that file is from? Sometimes if you’re using an older version of WordPress, it creates a file that won’t import correctly on WordPress.com. I can help you resolve that if you need.

  If you’re running a recent version of WordPress on that site, and the file still won’t import, let me know that too and we can take another look to see what’s going on.
