Importing Issue from Posterous
-
Trying to import from Posterous. I select the following file from my computer:
Upload wordpress_export_1.xmlIt indicates that the file I selected is not a xml file, though it is clearly labeled as such.
Therefore, I cannot continue the process of trying to import my information from Posterous to WordPress.
What am I doing wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, it looks like your system appended a .txt extension to the file, which prevented it from being imported correctly. I removed the extension and the import went through. You now have 30 posts – does that match your Posterous blog?
I noticed that some of the images are still being pulled in through your Posterous site, so I’ll ask our developers to have a look and try to fix that up. Please don’t delete your Posterous site until we get that sorted out. Thanks!

Your images look alright now but if you spot any that are still pointing to Posterous, just let me know and we can have another look.
I did notice a couple of Word documents that didn’t get uploaded to your media library since they aren’t supported by the importer. You can upload them separately and replace them in the posts where needed. These are the two I spotted but there may be others as well:
