Importing Joomla users and passwords to WordPress

I’ve checked google and the wordpress plugin sections, but haven’t been able to find any solutions to this. I’m not trying to convert my entire Joomla Page to WordPress. All I want is the Usernames and Passwords migrated over to my WordPress database. Is there anyway to do this? When I logged into my PhpMyAdmin for my Joomla site, I went to the jos_users section and can see all of the register users there, however the passwords are (I assume the long string of alphanumeric characters is MD5) encrypted.

How do I just get the username and passwords migrated to the wordpress database? Do I have to manually type in all of these things to the wp_ database? Is there any sort of automated way/plugin to do this?

by the way, my wordpress site is on my individual website (ie: http://www.mywebsite.com/wordpress). It’s not a ‘website.wordpress.com’ site.

    Thanks in advance.

Since your site is not here on WordPress.COM you need to take the supportbot’s advice and make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
