Importing not working?

    I have tried to import several files from my xanga onto my wordpress, I have followed all of the directions, and received three emails saying that the import was completed, but they are not anywhere to by found on my wordpress. All of the files are .XML files, and 3 of them DID import correctly, but there are 5 left and none of them will import. What should I do?

    Not to worry. There’s always a queue for imports and sometimes the importer gets stuck. I tagged this thread for Staff to reset it for you. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

    Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.

    I don’t see a stalled Xanga import on your site. Are you getting an error message when you try to import your remaining files?
