importing paid subscribers/gift subscription

    I’ve been using the Paid Memberships Pro plugin on my old website. I’m trying to move to a new website and was hoping to use the Jetpack subscriber setup bc I’ve had some issues integrating PMPro and MailPoet.

    But when I try to import subscribers by CSV or manually, they automatically import as ‘free’ and there is no way to change the subscriber level/setting.

    I also can’t find a way to give a ‘gift’ subscription.

    So it looks like my only option is to import my existing /paid/ subscribers as free and ask them to upgrade to a /new/ paid account, when they have already paid for a full year’s subscription.
