Importing photo's from our blog to our harddrive
-
Hi,
I travelled for a year and wrote a blog as I went. I also saved over 2000 photo’s to the library on wordpress. When I try and export these photo’s (as I’d like to create photo albums and blow a few up for the walls) using the export function I get a 7mb file – not my pic’s.
To be clear I only used around 80 pic’s in the published blog and stored the rest in the media library.
I’ve asked before how I should download the images but have been given information how to export getting the above results, or, been told how to transfer the images to another wordpress address.
I’d really like my photo’s on my hard drive so I can burn a few CD’s and get them printed. I’m not computer literate so please keep it simple.
thanks
Glove and Special Sauce.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Export does not include the images. If you do an import to another wordpress based blog, then you are given the choice of having wordpress retrieve your images, but with 2000 of them there is a real chance that it would not import all of them.
You will have to open each image from within the media library and the drag them out and onto your desktop, or into a folder on your desktop (better solution).
