importing poetry text

  Hello,
  I’m trying to import poetry text in its original format and every time I try (from word doc, pdf, or other formats) wordpress reformats everything according to its rubric. I’m trying to indent lines, space lines, etc…

  Help appreciated…

  Sorry about that. WordPress deleted that site and moved me to another one…
  I think I’ve figured out the HTML code for now:   seems to do the trick of indenting lines for me. I was hoping there was a way to import text from a word doc in situ. I’m okay with retyping/formatting it till I learn a faster way.
