importing posts

  i have two blogs that i’d like to integrate. ‘Blog A’ is the one I’d like to keep. If I do an import of the files from ‘Blog B’ will all my ‘Blog A’ posts still be there… I’m just worried if I do the import I’ll lose all my posts so wanted to check! thanks!

  Can we get the URL’s of those blogs, starting with http? it’s easier to guide you when we have clear paths.

  i’d rather not because i have them as private blogs. i may just need to rephrase…

  I have two blogs, lets call them ‘Blog A’ and ‘Blog B.’ I’d like to import all the posts from ‘Blog B’ to ‘Blog A’ and then delete ‘Blog B’ so that I only have one blog. I’m concerned that if I choose to import files from ‘Blog B’ that it’ll override the existing posts already on ‘Blog A’… I wanted to see if anyone has combined two blogs before and can verify that it does NOT override posts and simply ADDS the posts.

  Does that make sense?

  The problem is that we don’t know if those blogs are hosted here at wordpress.COM or elsewhere. That’s why rain asked for the info.
