Importing posts from a self-hosted wordpress website to my .com wp website

  Hi, I would like to import my blog posts along with their medias and comments from my self-hosted wordpress.org website (http://www.juliecloutier.com/fr) to my wordpress.com blog. I am planning to use the wordpress export/import options assuming it works from a self-hosted to a .com site. My question is regarding my subscribers. I have some subscibers on my .com website and I want to know if they will receive an email notice for each posts that will be imported ? I would like to make sure they do not get any notification as theses are older posts that they might have alredy read on my self-hosted website.
