Importing posts from my old blog

  I tried everything you have on importing posts to a new blog, but still posts don’t show up on my new blog. Please assist

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi surajumarye,

  1. Export the content from your current blog by following the steps in the Export guide.
  2. Import the content into your new blog by following the Import guide.
  2. Optionally, add a Site Redirect to automatically redirect visitors to your new address.

  It is pretty cool to be able import, export posts from other websites. However, I find if this feature is disabled, does not work properly, it helps to copy and paste the text for each post and pasting it into new draft of new post made on other site. Also while still copying and pasting, it also help to provide a back up of that text, by pasting it into notepad on the computer. Just incase they get lost, or are hacked in cyberspace. I hope this helps. Personally, that’s what I would do. Best of luck on your new blog.
