importing posts to new website

  Hello, I am building a new website (probably using squarespace), and wondering if some of the posts and corresponding comments from my ecosomatica.wordpress.com blog can be imported to my new site? I’m not sure what ‘version’ of wordpress this blog is running on, and don’t know how to find that out either.

  I’d appreciate any guidance you may have.

  Hi there,

  Yes you would be able to export posts and comments and import the same in your new site. Please read the below support document regarding the same.
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  Version numbers at WordPress.COM don’t really count as staff does all upgrades. Your WordPress.com blog will be in the latest version.
