Importing previous blog content into new domain address

  In July/16 I exported my blog content, mrsvansmusings.com and deleted the site.
  Two weeks ago or so I set up a new domain under colleenvannieuwkerk.wordpress.com.
  Today I imported the content I had exported but it is not showing up under the new domain. Is it possible to re-import it into the new site or do I need to start over?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I can see an import was started for your site about 10 hours ago, and it’s showing several posts and pages for me. Is that the content that you were trying to import?

  Imports can sometimes take several hours to complete depending on the amount of content. Judging by the time stamps you posted here only an hour after starting the import, and it wouldn’t have completed yet by that time.

  Let me know if you still need any help with this.

  I did get an email at 10:48 pm that the import was complete.

  I do need help to sort it out, if that is even possible. I could just delete my content and start over.

  Did the import not complete correctly? I can empty your site for you, but if you import the same file chances are it will import the same. Also note that if I empty the site it will permanently remove all content on the site. If there is any content that is not included in your import file it will not be possible to restore it once the site is emptied.

  Thanks for your help:) I decided to just delete the whole thing for now. Love WordPress:) May be back someday…
