Importing sites into WordPress.com

  I have a WordPress site built by and residing at Yahoo Small Business. I would like to switch to wordpress.com, but I need to know if I can just import their website in my wordpress.com easily, and if there will be hassles with switching the domain name from them to wordpress.com. Thank you.

  You can move those over by following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  As for the domains, we have two options:

  Mapping allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
