importing squarespace to free account

    I need to import to wordpress.com temporarily – and am not able to import all blog posts plus images plus comments as it continues to hang.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    I’ve reset the importer on your site, so you can try importing the file again. I see your import file is around 8MB big, so it’s not too big for the importer. However, it might be a good idea to create a new export from the original site.

    Specifically, please go through the comments of the original site, make sure the Spam folder is clear, and also delete any low quality comments or spam comments you might have approved by mistake. If a site has a very high ratio of posts to comments that can sometimes cause problems with importing, even if the file is small enough. Getting rid of low quality and spam comments usually helps with that.
