importing (stopped working)

  I’m trying to import my entries from my old Xanga account. I actually did this successfully yesterday, however it labeled my posts as being submitted by other wordpress blog account. The “other” account was one I started and never used, so I deleted it yesterday along with the imported entries, then tried to reimport from scratch. While it worked fine the first time, and I get the “successfully imported” emails, nothing is showing up on my new site. :( Did I royally mess up by deleting my other/original wordpress account- that wasn’t even being used? I don’t see why it would matter since I’m only trying to use my newly created account, but I can’t understand why nothing will import now when I had success the first time I tried.
  Please help. I’m terrified of losing almost 10 years of blog entries from Xanga.

  I have flagged this for the staff to help

  But we need all of the URL’s involved and what you were trying to do with each one, and what you did to each address to give you accurate help.

  You mention deleting something, we need to know exactly what the URL of that was and what URL’s had content cleared.

  sullengirl010, don’t worry, everything is still okay. If you still have your Xanga export files, then you still have your content. If not, you can always do another export. :)

  Please let me know which site you are trying to import the content into, and I can assit you further.

  Also, for instructions on how to do a Xanga import, please see:

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
