importing the posts from WordPress blog to another WordPress blog?

  I want to close down one blog but transfer its’ posts to my main blog.
  How do I do that please/

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  On the dashboard of the blog you want to close down, go to the Tools page and create an export file. On the dashboard of the blog you want to use, go to Tools->Import. Double check to make sure all the images and everything transferred over. Then you can close down the one blog.

  Thanks. SO just to double check, do I have to go through this process for each individual blog post or does it work for all posts for that WordPress site? Also, what happens to followers of the blog – can they be notified?
