Importing to a page
-
Hi,
I was wanting to import an old blog from Blogger and have it on a seperate page, not on the main page where my new posts go. Is there a way to do this? The old blog will be inactive, I just want it as an archive.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No, there is no “separate” page for old posts, but since post sorting is chronological, your old posts will soon disappear from the front page (in the meanwhile you might change the number of posts to be shown on the front page under: “Options” > “Reading” – “Blog Pages” “Show at most:”)

Thanks, isadora; however, I don’t think I explained myself properly. What I am hoping to do is import an old blog of mine to a seperate page. For now, I have it as a link on my ‘blogroll’ but I just think it would be nicer to have a tab at the top of my WP blog for it, like: “home”, “about”, “the old blog” and, “our dogs”

I understood your question: unfortunately it’s not possible, because those tabs are static pages. You might create a category called “the old blog” and use it to categorize the old posts you imported, so that they can be found by clicking on that special category. It’s the closest thing to what you’d like to achieve.
