Importing to wordpress from a wayback archive
-
Back in December I discovered content was missing from our blog (see https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/content-missing-from-inactive-blog?replies=5 )
I have now located some (all?) of the blog in the Way Back Machine. For example http://web.archive.org/web/20101103123652/http://wsuctlt.wordpress.com/
I have moved a couple items by hand to the blog, but (1) this is going to be tedious and (2) I have a problem with the URLs I can’t resolve
SO —
(1) any clues on how to mechanise the import from Wayback Machine?
(2) the URLs of the posts I have moved manually end up with embedded dates in 2014 (eg today) not the original URL when they were created in 2008-2010. Consequently any external references to the posts are still broken. Thanks in advance
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oops, I must have missed this in the interface… The blog I need help with is not CommunityLearning but http://wsuctlt.wordpress.com/ CommunityLearning appears intact, but it has links back to WSUCTLT

I’m afraid that you are in for a long haul there. You will have to at least hand-edit the datestamp of each post. If the Wayback Machine can create an RSS feed, you can use that to do an Import, but otherwise I think it’s copy-paste.
